Everything about this place was great. Service was great and the workers who I believe are the owners were extremely nice. I ordered a lemonade, Bacon egg and cheese pie, Carmel apple pie, and a peach cobbler. Lemonade was great. The breakfast pie on it's own was amazing, added with their sauce it was just 🤌. I would give both pies a 10/10. They also add some powdered sugar on top which adds to how great they are. It's outside eating and a nice cute little area with squirrels as entertainment lol. They also have some cookies that are amazing as well. All around great food and would definitely come again 10/10
WOW! What an awesome surprise finding this little spot! Possibly my new go-to brunch spot. The food was fresh and packed with flavor! And don't get me started on the portions. I'm an ice-cold coffee sort of person, and the menu covered in lengths a variety of choices. Menu includes sweet and savory items. I enjoyed something on both sides, but I was not disappointed. Next time, I'll be trying their adult beverage items because those too looked like they would be tasty. New seating indoors, but most of the outside seating was covered by their beautiful mature trees. I think I will enjoy this place more come fall but till then I'll bring my small portable fan with me.
Overall a good experience. Items ordered were:
Bacon, egg, and cheese fried pie. Then smothered in sausage gravy - Really tasty. Maintained some crunch despite the sausage gravy, which was also tasty. The gravy seemed to have Cajun seasoning on it. Would recommend
NOLA Fried Chicken Sandwich. Monte Cristo style - Flavorful. Good crunch on the fried chicken. Batter wasn’t thick. Good sized chicken breast. It was an opened faced sandwich. Would order again
Parmesan garlic tator tots - Crispy with parmesan garlic sauce. Good tots that stayed crispy with a sauce on top. Not overly salty
Honey Lavender Latte with almond milk. Iced - it was too herbally for my taste. I’ve had this combo before from a different vendor and preferred theirs
Cuban coffee - delicous, not too sweet espresso shot. Would order again
I love the pies, and the in-house sweet cream for the coffee is great!! There's plenty of shaded seating outdoors where you can enjoy the smell of their coffee being roasted. The only complaint I have is that they don't sell their "awesome sauce" which comes with the tots. I could put that on anything and everything.
Visited this place for the first time and loved it! We let the front person tending to us that it was our first time there and she proceeded to tell us about items on the menu. I decided to try the Horchata Latte and Boudin fried pie with hatch chili queso on top. My husband tried the biscuits and gravy and Butterbeer Latte(hot ). Drinks came out quick and food was not that much longer after. Everything was delicious! She gave me a sample of the Mexican mocha and I LOVED it so, I will be going back for that and other items as well. Definitely a must check out spot. Seating is on the outside area only but there's plenty of large trees shading.
Awesome atmosphere, quality drinks and food, and stellar service make for a very pleasant experience. The 'Cheers' of coffee shops! The personal service makes you want to go nowhere else. Add to that the price and quality of their unique menu. Don't pass them by!!
I have been dying to try this place! Super cute & fun outdoor space. Inside where you order is small. Very kid & dog friendly. I can see this being really fun on the weekends with live music.
We welcomed in with friendly smiles from the staff & an explanation of their menu. I started off with their Horchata. It was delicious! I also ordered a brunch mimosa. It is served in pint glass, which I don't mind. Initially, the girl making it started to pour half OJ & half champagne. I quickly stopped her & told her that was enough bc that isn't a great ratio to me. Prefer just a splash. 😉 My husband had their NOLA sandwich from their brunch menu. The beignet bun was awesome. The chicken was just okay. He said his egg was undercooked for his liking. He also tried their fried chocolate pudding pie & said it was delicious. I had their homemade boudin pie smothered in queso. It was scrumptious & my favorite! Especially with their awesome sauce. I also had their sausage & egg fried pie smothered in sausage gravy. It was alright. The sausage gravy was good, but I think I make better. Overall, cool place. We might come back for and try some more items.
The stuffed beignets are delicious, filled with cream and berries, get them! The Nola Chicken Sandwich was just okay, not much spice and chicken was a bit greasy. The biscuits and gravy was very tasty and richly flavored. Not a coffee drinker, but others in group enjoyed it as well as several of the speciality drinks! Usually can find seating, great outdoor area when the weather is nice!
